BC Young Farmers Scholarship

The BC Young Farmers Scholarship supports the next generation of agricultural leaders by providing annual financial assistance to B.C. residents aged 19–40 who are pursuing post-secondary education or training in agriculture.

To be eligible, you must be…

• Resident of British Columbia*
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident*
• Between the ages of 19-40
• Enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program* related to agriculture
• New or returning student
  *Indicates proof required

While we welcome all applicants who fall within the eligibility criteria, preference will be given to:

• Those affiliated with a member of a BCAC member association (includes members, a child of, or an employee of).
• Those pursuing a career in primary agriculture or aquaculture (e.g., shellfish, finfish, kelp)
