LUSU/LUGSA Graduate Student Travel Bursary
The LUSU/LUGSA Graduate Student Travel Bursary (“the Bursary”) is established to provide financial assistance to graduate students at Lakehead University for travel related to their academic and professional development.
a. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at Lakehead University. Students from all fields of study are eligible, and an equitable opportunity will be provided regardless of their field of study.
b. The proposed travel must be directly related to the student’s academic or professional development.
c. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, supported by documentation if requested.
d. Students may only submit one application at a time for consideration.
e. Priority will be given to international students.
i. Domestic students are encouraged to apply for the travel bursary provided by the FGS.
f. Students who have received the Bursary in the past may reapply, but will be prioritized lower than first-time applicants.
