Waterloo Region Law Association Entrance Award

Established in 2014 by the Waterloo Region Law Association and dedicated in 2017 to honour and recognize Mrs. Catherine Malvern for her distinguished years of service as the Library Manager and Association Director. Catherine dedicated her career to the support of local practitioners through research and guidance. She is an advocate of lifelong learning and encourages students to pursue their passion. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need and a record of community service to students entering the JD program in the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. Preference will be given to students who, at the time of admission to Lakehead University, were residents of the Kitchener, Waterloo Cambridge region.
