Jack Peacock Memorial 2nd Year Law Award

Established by Elisabeth Verhaag in memory of Jack Peacock, whose passion was social justice and providing Indigenous youth with access to education. This award is intended to recognize ongoing excellence as students progress through their studies. Successful recipients are eligible to receive the Jack Peacock Memorial 3rd Year Law Award in their 3rd year.
A gift of $5,000 will be awarded annually to two second-year law students, who, in their first year, obtained an academic standing in the top 10% of the law school class and demonstrate Financial need. Preference may be given to individuals of First Nation, Métis or Inuit descent.
