Diane Buhlman Scholarship in Education

Established in 2001, the scholarship is provided to a student with high academic achievement and excellence in practice teaching. Preference will be given to a student from Thunder Bay or Northwestern Ontario. Awarded by the Senate Undergraduate Scholarship and Bursaries Committee on the recommendation of the Faculty of Education. The donor attended the former Lakehead Teachers College, 1966-67 and taught briefly. She then worked in the Faculty of Education Library, 1971/78. It is the hope of the donor that recipients of this scholarship will help students in a similar way, once they are in a position to do so.
