Dean's graduate Scholarship

Awarded annually to one Master’s student and one PhD student who demonstrate exemplary leadership, advancing Lakehead University’s academic reputation and/or research excellence and have made a significant contribution to the University, both internally and externally. Students must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum average of 80%. Students are to be nominated by a faculty member, peer, or be self-nominated. The nomination letter and award application are to be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Recipient must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant and must have resided in Ontario for 12 consecutive months prior to applying for this award.
