Garfield A Nuttall Memorial Scholarship

Garfield A Nuttall was born in Port Arthur in 1933. He attended St James Public School, PACI and Lakehead Technical Institute (1st year of engineering)- later to become Lakehead University. He obtained a BASc degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto in 1957 and pursued a career in heating, ventilating and air conditioning in Toronto and Montreal. In 1969 he returned to Thunder Bay where he continued to practice in his chosen field. Garfield believed strongly in the importance of the community. Awarded to an entering or in-course student enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering with minimum 80% average from Northwestern Ontario.
