Katherine Dugmore Memorial Award

Katherine Dugmore was a landscape architect and urban planner with a great love for northern communities. She was the City of Thunder Bay’s Waterfront Project Manager from 2007 to 2013 and was responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of Prince Arthur’s Landing at Marina Park. This award was established in 2014 by the friends and family of Katherine Hope Dugmore in recognition of her passion, talent and inspirational work.
Awarded annually to an entrance student enrolled in any of the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies programs offered on the Thunder Bay Campus. Preferences will be given to a student on the basis of financial need with a strong academic record. The award recipient will be based on the recommendation of the Office of Student Awards and Financial Aid.
