G. Bernard and M. Marcella Weiler Family LU 30th Anniversary Graduate Award of Merit

Established by family, friends and colleagues at the firm of Weiler, Maloney, Nelson in honour of Gerard Bernard Weiler, Q.C., Fellow, Chancellor and Chancellor Emeritus of Lakehead University and outstanding community citizen, and Mary Marcella Weiler, his loving, supportive wife. Awarded to a full­time student entering a graduate program who demonstrates high academic standing and financial need. The intended area of thesis research must involve issues related to Northwestern Ontario. The recipient must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant of Canada and must have lived in Ontario for at least twelve months In a row.
