Grant H Thompson Memorial Award

Established in 1985 in memory of Grant Hamilton Thompson, F.C.A., by his family and many friends. This award recognizes Mr. Thompson’s many years of devoted service to Lakehead University and his profession. The Grant H. Thompson Memorial Award recognizes academic achievement, citizenship, and financial need. It will be awarded annually in perpetuity on the recommendation of the Scholarship/Awards Committee of the Faculty of Business Administration to students specializing in accounting, entering their final year, intending to pursue the designation of Chartered Accountant.
