Henry Lianga Memorial Award

Established in 1984 in memory of Henry Lianga, a student athlete who participated in wrestling at Lakehead University. Presented annually to a 3rd or 4th year student on the basis of a minimum ‘B’ standing and outstanding athletic ability and leadership at Lakehead University. Preference will be given to student athlete who participate in wrestling. Awarded by the Senate Undergraduate Scholarships and Bursaries Committee on the recommendation of the Department of Athletics.
