Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Entrance Scholarship

The Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Entrance Scholarship will be disbursed annually to well-rounded entrance students enrolled in Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) accredited programs within the Faculty of Engineering, who have demonstrated a combination of academic achievement and at least one of the following characteristics: Leadership qualities through participation in extra-circular activities or programs; Commitment to participation in extra-curricular activities in school or the community such as student government, club or team sports; Superior volunteerism (well beyond the requirements for high school graduation); or Financial need.

Lakehead University will endeavor to select at least one student who identifies as female or non-binary. The student’s combined scholarships for the academic year should not be more than $10,000 from all sources, including the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education.
