Joseph and Donald J. Auger Memorial Award of Merit

Established in 1987 by Donald J. Auger in recognition of his father’s belief in the education of Aboriginal people at the post-secondary level. In keeping with his father’s belief, Donald achieved many education goals including a Law Degree and a Doctor f Jurisprudence. Following his passing in 2014, the award also recognizes Donald’s commitment to education of aboriginal people from his Treaty Area. To be awarded in the second term to a second or third year student who is of North American Native ancestry from the Robinson Superior Treaty Area on the basis of satisfactory academic standing and financial need.
