Muriel 'Bud' Boisseau RN Bursary for Nurse Practitioners

Created by June Morgan MacDonald to honour her aunt Muriel Boisseau (R.N. 1929) and all the RNs who served in McKellar Hospital in Fort William, the Port Arthur General
Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a practicing and/or experienced nurse who is an entrance or in-course student in the MPH
- Nurse Practitioner Program. lt is the donor’s hope that upon completion of the Program, the recipient will practice in Canada or a Third World Country. The recipient will
be a resident of the Province of Ontario and preferably, but not necessarily a graduate of Lakehead University. The academic unit will forward its recommendation to the Faculty
of Graduate Studies.
