Law Society of Upper Canada/LexisNexis Education Equity Award

Awarded annually to a student enrolled in either second or third year in the J.D. program and who is a member of a visible minority group, an Indigenous person, a person with a disability or LGBTQ student. The award is based primarily on financial need with due consideration being given to academic achievement and/or devotion and commitment to community and/or university service, as determined by the Dean of the Faculty of Law or their designate. Applicants are asked to submit a document demonstrating their academic achievement and/or devotion and commitment to community and/or university service.
