Ontario First Generation Bursary

Established in 2006 by the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Education and Training’s Access and Opportunities Strategy, to provide first generation bursary funds to full or part-time students with financial need whose parents did not attend post-secondary studies. Recipients must be residents of the Province of Ontario. Financial need will be the basis on which the bursaries are awarded. Successful bursary recipients of the Ontario First Generation Bursary must complete a Notice of Collection of Personal Information, prior to release of bursary funds.
