Shirley and Fred Buhlman Athletic Scholarship

Established in 2015-16 to recognize full-time, first year varsity athletes at Lakehead University. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated excellence and commitment in a sport as well as academic performance (80%). Recipients must meet the USports and OUA eligibility criteria. Awarded by the Senate Undergraduate Scholarships and Bursaries Committee on the recommendation of the Department of Athletics.
