Sher Ali Mirza Award for Academic Excellence and Leadership

Sher Ali Mirza Award for Academic Excellence and Leadership is awarded annually to a student who is in their final year of an undergraduate degree program. The student must have achieved academic excellence in the previous year on full-time basis (80% average). Equally important, the student has identified leadership qualities through direct involvement in activities of student chapters of professional/learned societies and/or in activities that led to betterment of student life at Lakehead University or elsewhere. The award is open to all students (Canadian citizens, landed immigrants of Canada, and international students) in all undergraduate degree programs offered by Lakehead University.
