Gorjao Engineering Award
Established in 2021 by Jonathan Gorjao (BENG’98) a graduate from Electrical Engineering. Following an unconventional path, Jonathan began his career less than a month after graduating and returning to the GTA, at Bell Canada as a network technician. Just over 23 years later, he is still with the same company, having advanced through a variety of different departments. A lifelong learner, Jonathan enjoys experiencing all that new technology has to offer. He encourages students to remain inquisitive throughout their careers and to pursue a job that is fulfilling. “In this world, learning shouldn’t stop, if it does stagnation will occur, and the mind will suffer.â€
