Caesar Squitti Memorial Scholarship in Business

Established in 2023 by a retiree of Lakehead University in memory of close friend Caesar Squitti. Caesar was a 1980 graduate of the Honors Bachelor of Commerce program at Lakehead. A lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, his career was spent in entrepreneurship, most notably the family business he developed. An early adopter of the internet, he established an online sales arm of the business as well as establishing an on-line magazine. Later in life he achieved the goal of becoming an author. Caesar believed in giving back to the community through volunteer efforts with a number of local organizations.

Awarded to a full-time student enrolled in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program in any year with high academic standing.
