J P Bickell Foundation Mining Scholarship / Award

Awarded on the recommendation of the Senate Undergraduate Scholarships and Bursaries Committee, to a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student registered in: B Sc or HBSc Geology; B Sc Earth Science; HBESc Environmental Studies with Earth Science; Chemical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Mechanical Engineering. Students must be enrolled in one the aforementioned disciplines, with a minimum 70% average in the previous year and must demonstrate an interest in the mining industry. The successful recipient will submit a written summary indicating their areas of interest which may include; operational, environmental and geological issues or concerns.
